UFOs, True or False?
01/10/2000 Source: Jessica Martin

The Galactic Senate: polls & voting for October 2000.

Nothing gladdens our heart more than to see democracy in action in the science fiction and fantasy world. If you feel the same, dear user, then here's our current and past online polls, as voted for by many a fine fellow (you too can vote, but choose wisely) ...

UFOs, True or False?
It's time to get off the fence, people. The issue before this house is ... UFOs, could they really be secretive visitors from space, or are they products of the minds of deluded muppets who've watched too much X-Files? ...

UFOs might be true. We like to keep an open mind on such matters, after all, the universe is a rather large place. It is possible that visitors from the stars are walking among us, or watching our progress from orbit with a benevolent eye. Their strange spinning craft are the product of an advanced and caring civilization.
UFOs are pure suck. The only thing these strange spinning craft are the product of is too much beer or tricks of the light. There's no evidence of UFOs apart from a couple of obviously faked photos by attention seeking herberts. Every UFO or alien-siting story is mired in the technology of the time. In the 19th century they were seeing odd looking balloons, in the 1950s it was ambassadors from Jupiter and transistor-based control panels. This is all just too obvious. Why shouldn't the aliens look like spiders, have four legs, or even look like a wookie? No, it's all pure suck.
