Bill Gates is Darth Vader. True. True.
01/12/2000 Source: Jessica Martin

What has Darth Vader got to do with Bill Gates we hear you cry?

Buy Star Wars in the USA - or Buy Star Wars in the UK

This is a question that has long been posed among both the massed ranks of programmers and hordes of science fiction fans.

Now at last the answer has become clear with the launch of Microsith, a site soley dedicated to drawing the many comparisons between the prince of darkness of Star Wars and the prince of darkness of Redmond.

The following press release from Microsith will give some idea of what to expect from this portal of Gates pokery!

In a recent press release, Darth Fences, Master of Microsith Corp made clear his views on the recent findings of the Republic Senate into the accusations of anticompetitive behavior on the part of Microsith.

He stated that consumers make decisions based on the best products in the marketplace, and the phenomenal competition and innovation in the software industry Microsith has forged in the last 3000 years are what has put us in the position we enjoy.

"We're the top because our software is the best," Fences said in response to the accusation that he had orchestrated a trade blockade against competitor Naboo CorpTM. "And I don't know what Droid Army you're talking about!"

When confronted with allegations of his actions against Alderaan Systems Inc, he replied "Their planet just exploded of its own accord! I had nothing to do with it!"

The slander put around by the relative of former employee Captain Needa was greeted with the truth: "He just choked on his cheese sandwich!"

We all look forward to seeing Darth Fences, and all Microsith employees vindicated.
